This session will focus on recent successes in European climate policy and energy transition, particularly the implementation of the Fit for 55 package. We are honoured to have Dr Robert Habeck, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and Vice Chancellor of Germany, join our session as a distinguished speaker, offering his invaluable insights on these critical topics. This event marks the first of two policy sessions hosted by the EUKI Academy at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).

Introduction of EU-wide carbon pricing on emissions from buildings and road transport (ETS 2) and the role of the Social Climate Fund in compensating for the impact on vulnerable households.
